Well, it depends on what kind of mage you're going for. If it's a pure mage, High Elves have some of the best magicka. Bretons are good for it too. But if you want to go mostly-magic partly-combat then I'd suggest a Dark Elf or a Breton. Pure mage is hard :c

What race is best to run with each class? I have an Orc Warrior right now, considering doing a Khajiit Thief next, and maybe...Dark Elf Wizard? Or is another race better for one of those other two? Thanks, and I love your blog!!
I’m no expert but Khajit, Bosmer or Argonians are the best theives/assassins I think, I’m currently playing a Khajit for just that and they are pretty suited for the job.
And for wizards and wizards or what have you, that sounds pretty accurate.

I went to jail, and broke out. I found both chests containing my stuff (evidence, belongings) but there were no quest swords inside, like the ceremonial sword or hjatl's sword. Has this happened to anyone else?

This isn't a response to that other message but I just thought I'd share an incident I had. I accepted the quest to go take Whiterun for Ulfric but as I passed through the area I got a message that said I won the battle. I thought "Shit. Oh well." and continued. Later, I find myself in Solitude and as I go see the Jarl, Balgruuf and his team come running upstairs killing people and they themselves were unable to die so now they're running around Solitude chasing me. Has anyone else seen this?
Actually, yeah, but it wasn't in Jorrvaskr. Aela and Njada were hunting a mammoth near Darkwater Crossing, and I look around, and Skjor's naked body was just floating along through the ground .__. I guess Aela brings it with her...?
