unidentifiedspoon asked: Well, it depends on what kind of mage you're going for. If it's a pure mage, High Elves have some of the best magicka. Bretons are good for it too. But if you want to go mostly-magic partly-combat then I'd suggest a Dark Elf or a Breton. Pure mage is hard :c

I accepted the quest to go take Whiterun for Ulfric but as I passed through the area I got a message that said I won the battle. I thought "Shit. Oh well." and continued. Later, I find myself in Solitude and as I go see the Jarl, Balgruuf and his team come running upstairs killing people...
